The guestrooms at Makk Hotel were absolutely comfortable and cozy. The premium bedding made me feel like I was sleeping on a cloud, and the laptop-compatible safes provided peace of mind. The air conditioning was a blessing, especially on hot days, and the bathrobes added a touch of luxury to my stay. The private garden on the balcony was a tranquil spot to relax and unwind.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the satellite TV in the twin room. But hey, that's just my preference and others might enjoy it.

Stayed at Makk for 2 nights. Best bathroom out of 7 Cambodian stays. Staff went above and beyond, even hand-delivering our dinner during a crowded concert. Warm welcome with a courtesy drink and easy check-in. Comfortable and clean room. Delicious breakfast with a view of the river. Front desk organized a great tuk-tuk driver for a trip to Kep and Phnom Chhngok cave temple. Rural landscape and secret lake were amazing. Kep markets offer fresh seafood. Friendly staff assists with day trips and bus tickets. Great welcome package and lovely surprises in the room. Nice view from breakfast area and rooftop terrace. Don't miss the craft beer and sushi nearby. Perfect stay!
Do recommend this hotel.

Comfortable Beds: The premium bedding at this hotel was so cozy, it felt like sleeping on a cloud. I woke up refreshed and ready to explore Kampot!
Mouldy Bathroom: The room had a bit of a mouldy smell, which was a small downside to an otherwise great stay.

The hotel had a delightful blend of colonial style and traditional Khmer architecture, which reminded me of the olden days. The general areas were beautifully decorated with intricate details, such as ornate woodwork and vintage furniture. It felt like stepping into a bygone era. Additionally, the hotel was easily accessible for senior people like myself, with well-maintained ramps and elevators to ensure hassle-free movement.
I would have appreciated if the children working there could have been a bit more attentive to the specific needs of senior guests.

The rooftop garden at Makk Hotel offered breathtaking views of the river, creating the perfect spot for a peaceful evening drink. We thoroughly enjoyed the serene atmosphere and the opportunity to people-watch from above. The staff were attentive, making sure all our needs were met without being intrusive. The daily breakfast, included with our stay, was absolutely delicious and offered a variety of options to satisfy our taste buds. Although we encountered a minor flooding issue after heavy rainfall, it didn't dampen our experience as the hotel provided slippers and the room itself was unaffected. I highly recommend this charming retreat for a delightful stay in Kampot.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Kampot during Christmas and there were a few things I liked about my experience. the rooms were clean and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and lovely bedding. The staff was welcoming and friendly, always ready to assist with any requests. Another positive aspect was the location of the hotel, which offered beautiful views of the surrounding area. Lastly, I really enjoyed the generous and tasty breakfast that was served each morning.
There were a couple of things that I disliked during my stay. the WiFi was almost non-existent, making it impossible to connect and causing a lot of inconvenience.
